Burning hands on desert sand, the days could last all year, I always knew you worked to hard, just to get us here,
As I watch the trains roll by dreams aboard, I could not have, we washed our face clean once again/ and we forged ahead,
In the eternal days....
We never knew where life would chase us, how
Did it change us, we never knew where life would chase us
And sun stained our souls and spines with out forgiveness without regret, it’s been a tough year so far I fear we haven’t seen the worst yet
As I watch the trains roll by, dreams aboard, I could not have, we washed our face clean once again, and we forged ahead
because if life was at all fair, we wouldn’t appreciate the things
we had/I bet you’ll find, the reason for it all, in the days of wind blown faces
You never knew where life would chase us
How did it change us
In the days
In the eternal days
.....In the days of wind blown faces!!!!
We never knew where life would chase us...how did it change us?
This album is amazing from start to finish! It's got such a cool, poetic, punk rock vibe. Hits the soul, for real. Please come play in Miami, Florida soon! Thank you for your art! richnice1975
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
This Oakland group pulls no punches, serving up a hard-hitting punk album that recalls the blistering brilliance of Refused. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 8, 2020
