There’s someone else who sees your inactivity’s
By visions not blurred by acts of humanity
Smoke in your eyes keeps the pictures from becoming clear
The plague in your mind controls what you hear
You move on up just trying to infiltrate the opposition
The polarity and restraint contradict your first prediction
Optical illusions fill your thoughts unconsciously
The reflection in the mirror shows your irony
A flame of peace has stirred up inside you
Strange modesty and I can’t define you
A strange modesty has stirred up inside you
Focus clearly now don’t close your mind
Your ineffective way of life infinitely higher you climb
Bodies fluid freeze up as you remove your hypnotize
Try to blend your space with mine
A flame of peace has stirred up inside you
Strange modesty and I can’t define you
Hooray
Focus clearly now just trying to put your life back on track
You’ve seen what happens and you don’t want to die like that
You’ve tried so hard for a rewarding piece of mind
The war is over brother time to die

This album is amazing from start to finish! It's got such a cool, poetic, punk rock vibe. Hits the soul, for real. Please come play in Miami, Florida soon! Thank you for your art! richnice1975

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
This Oakland group pulls no punches, serving up a hard-hitting punk album that recalls the blistering brilliance of Refused. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 8, 2020
